Miller Augmented Arc Server Troubleshooting

Miller Augmented Arc Server Troubleshooting

We have a remote assistance feature that can be accessed using a USB keyboard to the server.

You will need:

  • HDMI/VGA Monitor
  • USB keyboard
  • Ethernet cable. Long enough to connect from a school port to the server.

Here a procedure:

  1. Connect to the server to the internet. Connect an ethernet cable from the school internet port to the upper port of the server labeled INTERNET.
    1. The internet school port must not have a firewall or proxy activated.
  2. Connect the monitor and usb keyboard.
  3. Turn on the server and wait until you see a screen similar to this one.

  1. Using the keyboard, press CTRL ALT F4

  1. From the menu options, select “Connect to Remote Assistance…”, enter 3 and press enter. You should see something similar to the screen below.

  1. Email Arion (arion@sfesmiami.com) the serial number of the server, it is located on a sticker on the side of the unit and let me know when your server is in the screen above.
  2. Please leave the server on remote assistance until Arion confirms that they were able to work on it.
