SolidWorks Installation Instructions
install SolidWorks License Server and SolidWorks client, first download the latest version of the software, then follow the attached video tutorial for installation:
Part 1 - Download the SolidWorks installer
2 - Click Login
3 - Login with your 3D Experience login. If you've never logged in with 3D Experience before, use the same credentials you used to use to login to the old SolidWorks Customer Portal. (See our KB Article on the recent changes)
4 - Now select the version from the dropdown and click the "SolidWorks Products" link next to the latest service pack for that version.
5 - Now accept the license agreement and download the installer file.
6 - Click Download to download the installation manager program.
Part 2 - Install SolidWorks
1 - Run the file you just downloaded to extract it and start the installation manager.
2 - Follow along with the install tutorial in the attached video to install the license server and client.
Note: when installing SolidWorks on the client computer, be sure to only input the serial number in the first field labeled "SolidWorks" as shown at 1:57 in the attached video
