Calibrating the Scale for the J35 or J55 Printer

Proper scale calibration is critical to ensure the Advanced Head Optimization wizard is successful. 

If the scale is not calibrated properly, you can get warnings or errors when running the Advanced Head Optimization wizard:


To determine if calibration is needed, find your 500g weight and place it on the scale. If it is off by even .2g this is enough to impact the Advanced head Optimization wizard.
This scale has an error of .38g - more than enough to cause issues with the Advanced Head Optimization wizard.

Follow the instructions in the video below to recalibrate the scale:

After calibration, place the weight back on the scale and it should read 500.00g - or very close:
After calibration, the error has been reduced to .01g
