1- Click here to download the firmware update - As of July 2025 the latest version is 2.9 Build 5990. Release notes are attached to this KB article.

2- Put the .upg file on a USB drive

3- Plug the USB drive into the front of the printer

4 - Go to the Maintenance menu (same menu where you selected update software) and scroll to the bottom where it says USB tools. Pick USB tools.

5 - Select the USB stick on the front of the printer and select the .UPG file from the menu to directly install it on the printer
