This guide will show you the steps to remove the SD card from your Stratasys F series machine for re-formatting.
Tools you will need:
A computer with a micro SD card reader/ and adapter for a micro sd card.
A 3 mm Hex
First start by powering down the printer and removing the power cord.
Next, Remove the back panel by removing the 14 screws using the 3 mm Hex circled in red (Loosen but do not fully remove the top screw on each side circled in green).
Next, Remove the back panel by lifting up fully and then away.
Next, locate the micro SDcard on the bottom left electronics board circled in red.
Remove the SD card by pushing it inwards.
With the micro SD card removed connect it to your PC using an adapter if necessary.
Once connected open the windows search bar and search Disk Management.
In disk management locate the SD card.
Once found right click on each partition within the SD card and delete those partitions until the entire SD card is unallocated.
Once unallocated take the SD back to the printer and reinstall it into the same slot pushing inward.
Reattached the back panel by hanging it on the two loosened top screws and sliding download.
Screw in the rest of the screws be sure to not over tighten.
Plug the power back in and turn the printer on.
During this process the screen should flash a few different colors then eventually give an error stating that the SD card is not formatted.
Hitting accept, will start the format process. This can take about 5 minutes. after the formatting the printer should boot normally to the main print screen.
Your SD card has been re-formatted.
We reccomend running a automatic calibration followed by a manual calibration.
