How to clear Loss of Extrusion

A "Loss of Extrusion" can be caused by many things, one of which is the when the filament slips off the tip:  


In order to create room around the top of the tip, use the procedure from the User Guide on page 57:  



It is not recommended to take the tension spring off, it should then be possible to grab the filament with needle nose pliers:  



Make sure to snip the filament so that there is a clean edge, then pull the carrier and filament out from the material bay.
