If you need to check or change your SolidWorks serial number, follow these steps:

1 - Type "Add" Into the search bar in Windows and click Add/Remove Programs

2 - Enter "SolidWorks" into the search bar in the Adds & features page, find SolidWorks and click "Modify"

3 - The SolidWorks Installation Manager will open. Click "Modify" and "Next"

4 - Verify or modify the serial number. If you are a student or teacher installing the software on your home computer, the serial number should start with 9020. If you are a teacher or IT professional installing the software on a school computer with a network license, the serial number should start with 9710.
