Replacing the fuses on your universal laser system

Checking the fuses on a Universal Laser System

To check the fuses on the laser system, follow these steps:

1. Locate the fuse location behind the machine. They are directly below the power inlet:

2. Press in on both sides of the fuse holder and pull the fuse holder out:

3. Get your multimeter out and set it to resistance.

4. Touch the leads from the multimeter together and verify there is 0 resistance to ensure the multimeter is working properly. If it shows overload or 0L or something similar while the leads are touching, the multimeter is not working properly.

5. Touch the leads to each side of the fuse. You should see a small amount of resistance. If you see overload, the fuse is bad.

6. Repeat this with the second fuse.
7. If the fuses are both good, replace them back into the fuse box and insert it back into the machine. if any of the fuses are bad, replace them with the appropriate fuse. The fuses types are listed on a label on the back of your laser system where the fuse box is located.
